About me

Hi, I am Karolina. I am a coach and a "creative" as we can call even though I think everyone should be called a "creative" :).

I never thought I would come back to having a blog but here I am. New chapter in my life meaning new chapter here. I feel ready. I feel like I do have things to say, to share, hopefully it’ll help or at least make you feel supported, heard.

Here you can expect: Lifestyle articles going from physical to emotional wellbeing, tips, observations from my experiences.

When I was pregnant I kept looking for blogs that share more about the emotional/ psychological journey as a first time mum and I thought maybe some other mums would be interested, so here is what I intend to share:

Personal growth was a big focus of mine before becoming a mum, as I navigate this new role, I find that personal development takes another shape and form, the way we do it has to be adjusted to the (limited) time we have, and the complete new "us" that is trying to emerge. I want to share how I experiment and find my way back to personal development and spirituality while navigating this beautiful intense experience which is motherhood.

Why Wolves and Parrots?

There are moments that shape us, inspire us, and leave an indelible mark on our souls. For me, the year 2022 was such a transformative chapter—an real period of learning, personal growth, and self-discovery. Let me explain to you where the name “Wolves and Parrots” came from…

The parrot, an unexpected presence in London, became a symbol of hope and faith during this pivotal time that 2022 was. These vibrant and seemingly out-of-place birds appeared when I needed them the most. Their colours and joyous calls were a reminder that even in adversity, chaos, there is beauty, resilience, and the possibility of thriving. They became my talismans, representing the hope and faith that propelled me forward on my path of growth. In the midst of learning how to set boundaries, getting to know what I wanted and especially what I didn’t want, life was preparing the ground for my Saturn return to hit in March 2023.

Moreover, the “wolves” holds a special significance in my journey. Towards the end of last year, I delved into the wisdom contained within the pages of the book “Women Running with Wolves” written by Clarissa Pinkola Estes. This book was recommended to me first 6 or 7 years ago but I did not feel like reading it… strangely the pull to read it came end of 2022, and I am so glad I followed it. This book acted as a foundational guide, providing me with the inspiration and strength to rebuild my spirit after a challenging period. The metaphorical essence of the wolf resonated deeply within me, symbolizing untamed power, instinctual wisdom, and the courage to embrace the wild aspects of my own being. It became the foundation upon which I could construct the renewed version of myself—someone unafraid to explore uncharted territories, confront inner demons, and pursue all the  possibilities life has to offer.
By choosing the name “Wolves and Parrots,” I honour these transformative influences that have shaped my journey of self-discovery. It emerges two powerful symbols—the parrots representing hope and faith in adversity, and the wolves embodying inner strength, resilience, and the untamed spirit within me.

As I embark on this new chapter of my life, I embrace the lessons learned, the personal growth achieved, and the transformation that has taken place within me. “Wolves and Parrots” serves as a constant reminder of the beauty that arises from life’s challenges and the strength that resides within each of us to overcome them. It represents the coexistence of vulnerability and resilience, hope and strength, and the tapestry of experiences that have shaped the person I have become today.

We all have our own polar combination that can become our reminder of the challenges we have surpassed and that can help us tap into that strength whenever we need it…
