A simple, concrete exercise to do when you are ready to commit a few minutes a day to a spiritual/ wellbeing practice.
Once you feel like you have a little window, a little space in your mind and in your day to give to yourself I suggest here the first step. An exercise that is very known and repeated over and over to us but is easy to follow and remember.
The gratitude “list”
This is how I do it:
Once if finish everything I need to do after baby’s bedtime, when I am relaxed and I am about to go bed, I take my notepad and I write 3 things I am grateful for. Try to not repeat the same thing day by day but always try to find something new even if it seems minor.
And that’s it. Commit to do it for 30 days first, and then continue if you feel like it has had a positive impact on you.
I am on day 24 and I can feel that it is not as easy as before for me to fall in a bad or low mood. I am going to continue past the 30 days and I will come back here for the second step on our wellbeing journey.
